How to Get a Whiter Teeth and Brighter Smile On Any Budget

Often people believe they need to spend thousands of dollars to get a more beautiful smile. While it might take an investment to achieve a Hollywood smile, people can achieve whiter and brighter teeth on any budget. Find out ways to get an attractive smile that can help boost your self-confidence.

    Flossing and Brushing

Brushing at least twice daily with a fluoride toothpaste and flossing every day can help people have a better smile. Consider trying one of the many kinds of whitening toothpaste on the market to boost the impact of ongoing brushing. Use a fluoride rinse to help combat tooth decay that can lead to cavities and tooth loss. Try brushing after every meal for the most impressive results. Carry a portable toothbrush to use at work or school to help prevent plaque buildup.

    Maintain a Healthy Diet

People need to eat to survive. Make healthy choices to enjoy stronger teeth and a nicer smile. The right foods can reduce the risk of tooth decay and periodontal disease. Low-fat and fat-free dairy foods contain strengthening calcium. Calcium is also found in vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage, and bok choy. These vegetables are also rich in vitamin C, which is an antioxidant that can help prevent gum disease caused by bacteria.

Snack on crunchy fruits and vegetables to increase the saliva in your mouth that helps protect the teeth from the bacteria that causes plaque. Try to avoid sticky, sugary foods that create an environment where cavity-causing bacteria can thrive. Also, be aware of foods that can stain the teeth, such as coffee, tea, and red wine.

    Create a Whiter Illusion

Women have the advantage of being able to use makeup to create the illusion of whiter teeth. For example, a darker lipstick with a blue undertone can make teeth appear whiter. Both men and women can apply a bronzing agent to the skin. The deeper skin tone can also make teeth look whiter. Creating a contrast can be an inexpensive, temporary solution for a night out on the town.

    Professional Tooth Whitening

In just one day, a dentist can perform teeth whitening to noticeably brighten your smile. The concentration of whitening agents in professional dental products is much higher than those purchased over-the-counter.

The whitening effect is deeper and usually visible in just one hour. From family reunions to job interviews, tooth whitening can make a difference that boosts a person’s self-esteem. If tooth whitening is not in the budget, a dentist can often recommend an at-home treatment that delivers good results.

    Dental Bonding

Sometimes a tooth has a small chip or a darker spot due to an injury, medication, or dental decay. In these instances, dental bonding can make a difference. The dentist applies a permanent bonding agent to the affected areas to improve the appearance of the tooth. It can get rid of a chip, spacing, and even some level of discoloration.

    Dental Veneers

For someone who can make a small investment, dental veneers offer outstanding results. The fronts of the teeth are filed down so enamel shells can be applied to them. This completely transforms the look of a person’s teeth. Often celebrities use veneers to get the dazzling smiles people see on TV and in the movies.

Whiter teeth can make a person feel better about his or her appearance. This can make someone more confident to face job interviews, social situations, and reunions. No matter how little or how much you can spend, there are simple ways to get the fabulous smile you always dreamed of. From brushing and flossing to bonding and veneers, there is a simple solution for everyone.

I found the right orthodontist for me here in Hammond, LA here at this dental facility. When it comes to oral health, I really want the best and I really did search the city for the best ortho for me. When I got here, I am so happy and relieved that I finally found the one for me. She was very attentive and she made me feel very comfortable. The treatment is also very effective and now I have straight, white teeth!

I was advised to see an orthodontist to correct my bite. I am glad I saw your website and read some of the reviews. By reading those customers testimonials, I decided to go visit your dentist and I am not disappointed by the service you have given me. Added factors are the place is clean and well maintained.

THE DENTISTS AND STAFF ARE AMAZING! I haven't been to the dentist in 10+ years because my last visit was so traumatizing. Recently my tooth broke and another was fractured due to me constantly grinding them in my sleep. I couldn't have wished for better service. They were so nice and kind to me. The dentist kept me informed of everything that was going on while she was doing it. The office was really clean and comfortable. I even got a call a few days later to see how I was doing and was informed that I could come in for a follow up appointment to check the healing process free of charge! I would definitely recommend them and will be going back on a regular basis. Extremely satisfied customer....Donna Evans
