5 Reasons Why You Should Consider Porcelain Veneers

If you have been considering porcelain veneers to restore your smile, there are many reasons why this treatment may be a good option. If you are not sure whether you should consider this treatment or composite veneers, there are several things that you should know that could sway your decision.

Here are 5 reasons why you should consider porcelain veneers.

    Enjoy a whiter smile.

Porcelain veneers are a good option if you want to permanently whiten your teeth. While you may consider teeth whitening treatments, these treatments often can’t give you the results that you are looking for. In addition, the whiter color will remain permanently, as long as you properly care for your veneers. If you are feeling insecure about your teeth because of stains, porcelain veneers may be the solution that you need to help you feel confident about your looks again.

Fix problems with the shape of your teeth.

If you have teeth that are chipped or misshapen, porcelain veneers can help you to solve these problems because they are bonded to the surfaces of your teeth. Depending on your problem, you may need have several veneers installed over your teeth to create the look of a natural smile. A dentist can determine which sizes and shapes will look best when examining your teeth.

    Fix gaps in your teeth.

Gaps are another problem that porcelain veneers can solve. Instead of resorting to braces or other long term dental treatments, you may be able to fix your problem with a veneer. The veneers can be shaped so that they will effectively cover your gap. This will help you to feel more confident about your smile while also giving you whiter looking teeth in the process.

Porcelain veneers are designed to last.

Porcelain veneers are designed to last for a long time. In some cases, they can last 15 years or more, which is much longer than composite veneers, which only last about 6 to 8 years. As a result, porcelain veneers can cost more than composite veneers. However, you can expect them to last longer, offering you greater value for your money. If you are looking for a treatment that will provide you with a great smile for years to come, then porcelain veneers are a good option.

    Porcelain veneers look more natural.

Porcelain veneers are carefully made to match the natural color of the patient’s teeth. In addition, porcelain offers a natural sheen that you can not get from composite resin because composite resin is opaque.

One of the biggest advantages of porcelain veneers is the impact that they will likely have on your self-esteem and emotional wellbeing. With veneers, you can eliminate the years of unhappiness and insecurity that you may have experienced because of your natural teeth. As a result, you may feel more confident to pursue the professional and personal achievements that you never thought were possible with your real teeth. With porcelain veneers, you’ll find that you will smile more and have increased confidence.

Before you consider whether porcelain veneers are the right option for you, you will need to have a consultation with your dentist. Not every patient is a candidate for porcelain veneers. Your dentist will examine your teeth to determine your eligibility for porcelain veneers. Make an appointment today for a consultation for veneers and we’ll help you to determine if this is the right option to restore your smile.

I was looking for a dentist near me and my sister recommended Advanced Dental Concept! My whole experience was good. I was treated nicely the moment I walked in. The place was welcoming and the staff was friendly. I had my check up there and will come back for my teeth whitening treatment!

I found the right orthodontist for me here in Hammond, LA here at this dental facility. When it comes to oral health, I really want the best and I really did search the city for the best ortho for me. When I got here, I am so happy and relieved that I finally found the one for me. She was very attentive and she made me feel very comfortable. The treatment is also very effective and now I have straight, white teeth!

THE DENTISTS AND STAFF ARE AMAZING! I haven't been to the dentist in 10+ years because my last visit was so traumatizing. Recently my tooth broke and another was fractured due to me constantly grinding them in my sleep. I couldn't have wished for better service. They were so nice and kind to me. The dentist kept me informed of everything that was going on while she was doing it. The office was really clean and comfortable. I even got a call a few days later to see how I was doing and was informed that I could come in for a follow up appointment to check the healing process free of charge! I would definitely recommend them and will be going back on a regular basis. Extremely satisfied customer....Donna Evans

I was advised to see an orthodontist to correct my bite. I am glad I saw your website and read some of the reviews. By reading those customers testimonials, I decided to go visit your dentist and I am not disappointed by the service you have given me. Added factors are the place is clean and well maintained.

Very pleasant visit... No wait time at all, they saw me right when my scheduled appointment was, and I was in and out of the office for a cleaning in less than a half hour total. Very professional!
